The 2009-10 application is available to
download below. Substitute teachers and teacher
assistants* interested in working in our schools must fill out
this application. *Teacher
assistant substitutes are processed by us for the BOCES, Cohoes,
Niskayuna, North Colonie Jr.HS & HS, Schalmont, South Colonie and Voorheesville
school districts only. All other districts' TA subs are hired via
their individual human resource offices.
The substitute application
and the three payroll forms below must be filled out and brought to interview.
As substitutes are not approved without an interview, no
applications are accepted by mail.
Please use black or dark blue ink.

Civil Service applications are needed to meet county
requirements. You do not have to take a Civil Service Exam -
simply complete and return the county application with the above
BOCES application.
Albany County Civil Service Application is needed for
districts in Albany County. Please download and complete.
Schenectady County Civil Service Application is needed
for districts within Schenectady County. Please download
and complete.
